Google--Friend or nosey neighbor?

Over the past 2 years that I've neglected many blogs of many themes,  I've had one steady visitor.  Google is either true-blue and loyal,  or that big headed lady across the street who peers down her nose, while on her tippy toes, over my back fence.  Maybe I don't really want to know.  

Google isn't the first pal that had me stumped lol.  I have had many "Google" friends over the years.  They never talk (at least not to me),  They pay me no money,   yet they are right there in the mist of my concerns....  Silent spies.  Well at least they don't leave their dirty socks laying around my blog or anything.
